As the South Jersey Claims Association begins its new year the officers and the board would like to thank everyone that have made the meetings, classes and golf outing a successfor many years.
The South Jersey Claims Association offers a forum where numerous insurance claims professionals from the Tri-state area gather each month. The association is dedicated to the pursuit of professionalism in the insurance industry and it is our goal to promote Insurance Education, Ethical Claims Practices, and Fellowship among insurance professionals. By offering a variety of speakers throughout the year, the association provides an important source of insurance education.
Over the past four years the SJCA has offered our membership a distinguished list of guest speakers that have included the following: Former Eagles Football Star, Vincent Papale, Federal Brueau of Investigations (FBI), NJ Assembly Speaker - Jack Collins, NJ Superior Court Judge - Barry Weinberg, NJ Director of the Division of Insurance, Donald Bryant, Leaders of the International Association of Special Investigative Units, Representatives from Arbitration Forums, Inc. and the Cybersettle Corp., to name a few. Additionally, local radio & television personalities - Joe Conklin {WIP}, and Don Tollefson {FOX TV} have spoken at SJCA meetings in the past.
Our monthly meetings take place at the Ramblewood Country Club, which is located at 200 Country Club Parkway in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. Directions and link to Google map are below.
General Statement about the History of the Association:
The South Jersey Claims Association was founded in 1955 and maintained an active existence until it was disbanded in the early 1970's. After a change in leadership and a restructuring of the fundamental goals of the Association, the SJCA was reactivated in 1980. Since that time, the Association has successfully served insurance professionals in the Delaware Valley.
The Fundamental Goals of the Association:
1. To promote Fellowship among insurance professionals and to encourage goodwill between the companies represented at the Monthly meetings.
2. To promote & maintain Ethical Claims Practices by reinforcing the importance of Integrity and Good Faith practices in the insurance industry.
3. To promote Insurance Education by providing a forum for Featured Speakers who offer expertise in various matters of interest to the Membership. Additionally, the Association provides Legal Updates from industry attorneys at each meeting in order to inform our Members of any items that may have an effect on the insurance industry.
4. To promote the prevention of Insurance Fraud.

From Route 295 (Exit 36A) or the New Jersey Turnpike (Exit 4) take Route 73 South towards Berlin. Travel 1/2 mile and follow the signs for Church Road East. From the second lane from the left make a left onto Church Road East. Travel 1/2 mile and make a left onto Country Club Parkway (third left).
